Petr Koubský

Petr Koubský is an analyst and publicist freelancer. He studied industrial automatization at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, then he worked as programming engineer until 1990. After that he was a co-founder of the publishing house Software News, where he served as a chief editor and afterwards he served as a chief editor of the journal Inside – Trends and Strategies on the Czech IT market. He moderates conferences,  as well as teaches at  the University of Economics and at the Charles University in Prague. He is one of the founders of the experimental educational institution iCollege. He also manages the internet journal 067.cz. His areas of interest include: sociology, computer science, information science, social networking, and security technologies.
