Jaroslav Šmíd

Jaroslav Šmíd studied Technical Cybernetics at the Czech Technical University in Prague. He has been working in IT in the state administration throughout his professional life. He is currently working on the position of the Deputy Manager of the National Security Authority, being responsible for the Department of Cybernetic Security. He is a member of the Council for Security Research in the Czech Republic, the Government Council for Digital Society and at the international level he represents the Czech Republic at various forums focusing on security of IT systems within NATO, EU, ESA, CC and Galileo.
